Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot

This was one of my most recent and most enjoyable illustrations. Hopefully you can guess that it is about dealing with menopause in the workplace. I had so much fun with the sketch that I became too attached to it. This made me change my style a bit but with great results. I traced my sketch, scanned in the pencil drawing then colored it in Photoshop. See the story that ran with it here. Enjoy!

LAMA designs

Christine Martinez - the creative mind behind LAMA Designs put out this great newsletter just in time for the holidays. It features two Byvik Ink cards! LAMA stands for Latin America in the Modern Age. Christine travels around Latin America and the states looking for contemporary artisans and designers that share her view of Latin and modern influences. I am so excited that she chose our cards to be a part of her web store.

Black is the New President

I just love that saying! I know it's late, but that doesn't make me any less happy about it. These are two of the buttons I ordered from the Move On organization. I'm so glad we did!
