I know it may be very hard to believe, but the National Weather Service is not always right. Take the weather prediction for February 14th, Valentine's Day (for San Diego County) - it was supposed to be a 20 percent chance of a light drizzle. Well, folks, we got hammered with crazy rain and snow in random inland areas that hardly ever see it. I know the weather here in San Diego is very boring compared to most areas, but as rare as rain is in these parts we should expect to know when it's coming! (see Logan Jenkins story) On that note, here is an illo that ran last week with a story about disability insurance. I really dislike having to put type in an illustration, but I like it in this one.
