Here is the cover illo I did for a “Going Green” tabloid the Union-Tribune put out in time for Earth Day. I must have done over 10 different sketches for this, which is more than I normally do. Sometimes the more I work on the composition, the better the end result. Then again, if I am lucky and get divine inspiration, occasionally my first sketch is the winner. Speaking of the divine – let’s take care of our earth today and do something like skip the plastic bag when you are only buying a few easy-to-carry items. Or how about bringing your own cup to the coffee shop today. It all adds up. Have a good day!

You know what would have been really cool? If you could have put the same mag cover on the ones the people were carrying and seen how small you could get it. Just a thought . . .
