I just bought the coolest vintage Schwinn Super Sport Bicycle yesterday. My friend, Chris, has been helping me search craigslist and ebay to find the perfect bike and he came across this one. It seemed to good to be true and it was. Looks like it came right out of the box - so my husband says. I found the serial numbers and checked this website to find out when it was made. It was made in Chicago in September of 1971. I love it! I'd like to think that I'm like this bike - over thirty years old and still looking shiny and new.
