We recently printed some baby shower invitations for a client in New York and the design turned out so great we turned them into greeting cards. We also used a new recycled paper for the first time. It's a card stock from French Paper that I've been researching for a while. I wanted something thick (100 pound or more), recycled (at least 30% post consumer fiber), less expensive than Crane's Lettra but with a slight texture as well. Most recycled card stocks we have played with were just too smooth to show off letterpress. Well, we just love this paper! It has small flecks in it and holds the deeper impressions beautifully too. Take a look for yourself!
I'll be putting the Kowabunga baby cards up for sale next week -stay tuned!
As for French Paper, their website is so much fun to browse. Don't hesitate to call them with any questions either, they were super helpful each time I called.
